Maintenance of Discipline
Every student admitted in the institute shall abide by rule 12, ordinance No.7, of the M.P. Vishva Vidyalaya Adhiniyam, 1973,Any student found guilty of the breach of discipline shall be punishable in accordance with rule 13 of ordinance No. 7 which are reproduced below :
Every student in the University shall at all times be of good behavior, show diligence in studies,maintain decorum and dignity, take proper interest in curricular activities and absorb all rules of discipline of the institution of which he is a student and that of the University.
i.) When a student is found guilty of breach of discipline within or outside the precinct of the University or an Institution of persistent idleness or has been guilty of malconduct, the head of the institution at which such student is studying , may according to the nature and gravity of the offense.
ii.) Before inflicting any punishment as aforesaid the head of the institution shall give the student concerned an opportunity of personal hearing and record the reasons of inflicting the punishment.
iii.) The head of the institution concerned shall have power to suspend for such time , as may be necessary, a student temporarily from the institution pending enquiry into his conduct in connection with an alleged offense.
iv.) The period during which a student remains suspended for completion of an enquiry, shall be reckoned in the calculation of his attendance for appearing at an examination provided he is found innocent.
v.) A student who has been rusticated shall not be admitted top another institution within the jurisdiction of this University.Ordinarily, the period of rustication shall not exceed two years.Other universities shall be informed of the fact of rustication.
vi.) The rustication of a student from an institution shall entail the removal of his name from the register of students.
College uniform:
The College has a prescribed blazer and dress which the students will have to acquire and wear.
Identity Card:
An Identity Card is a must for every student.Books will not be issued from the library unless identity Card is produced by the student to the librarian.The identity Card may be REQUIRED to be produced at any occasion during the visits to any part of the College.
Rules and regulation(Library)
1.The membership of the library is open to all the students of the College.
2.A student desirous to borrow books from the library must have an identity Card issued by the College.
3.Reference books will not be issued to the students. Student can consult the same in the library.
4.No book can be issued to a student , consecutively for two times.
5.the mutual transfer of the allotted books is not allowed among the borrowers.
6.The books will be issued to the students only at the allotted time and date.
7.The students will be solely responsible for any damage or loss of the books caused by him/her and he/she may be asked to replace it.
8.A student can retain a book for 15 days only with him/her.
9.A fine of Rs. 1/-per day will be charged for keeping of the books, overtime.
Attendance:
i.) Students are required to attend not less than 85% of lectures and practical in each subject separately.However, relaxation of shortage of attendance maximum up to can be done by Hon. Vice chancellor on Medical ground
ii.) Leave other than vacation will not be ordinarily granted to the students during the college session.Any kind of leave is admissible only with the prior written permission of the Principal but minimum requirement of attendance will have to be fulfilled as mentioned in(i)
iii.) Admission rules and procedures are subject to alteration/modification at any time without notice to the candidates and with the approval of the Government of M.P.
iv.) Students remaining absent from classes for longer duration are liable to be removed from the college.
